I was asked to create a campaign that would engage generation y in a relationship with energy supplier, E.ON, and make energy-saving cool or appealing. In response, I created I AM EON; a disaster about a global energy crisis. And just like every other classic disaster movie, it needs its heroes. Both the I AM EON website and the mobile app offer members of the public the opportunity to audition and become these heroes, and the movie stars of tomorrow. Participants are also given the opportunity to discover their current energy usage, and to see how this usage contributes, theoretically, to the energy crisis featured in the movie.
